No B.S. Beard Routine
If you’re going to have a beard, it should look on purpose, not like you forgot to shave for three weeks. Here’s a simple MANN-approved routine that keeps your beard clean, soft, and actually respectable – without turning you into a “skincare guy” who needs 12 products:
Step 1: Wash the Damn Thing
Use a proper beard wash 2–4x a week. Get down to the skin. Rinse well. No 7-in-1 body/hair/car wash nonsense.
Step 2: Hydrate Your Hair and Skin
After washing, use beard oil or balm. Work it into the skin first, then through the beard so it’s soft, not sandpaper.
Step 3: Trim With Intention
Pick a shape (full, stubble, goatee) and stick to it. Clean your neck and cheeks. Tidy strays. Even “rugged” is still maintained.
Step 4: Brush and Control
Brush or comb daily to detangle, train direction, and spread oils. If it gets wild, add a little balm/wax and lay it back down.
Step 5: Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle
Support the beard from the inside. Drink water, eat real food, and sleep like a functioning human. Health up → Beard up.
